Reading Mr. Brooks' story is inspiring. He is a true American hero. I looked into his story initially because I came upon a chest that I believe was his from his time in the military. It is an honor to have this piece of history but I wanted to make the effort to reach out to his family. If this is something you would be interested in having please let me know.

Viola and family, Gil never will be forgotten within the hearts and minds of all who knew him. He was one who contributed so much to his family, his friends and the community. Expressions of sincere sympathy are being extended for the death of your loved one. Death's pains are hard, very difficult and sad days are ahead... (Job 10:1). At the end of a tunnel there is always light. That light is from our creator. Isaiah 25:8, points to the removal of death forever. Revelation 21:3-4 reads, "No more death". Psalm 37: 9-11 gives us a different hope, notice righteous mankind including those who have died will live on a restored and peaceful earth. What a blessing that will be as you await this time, continue to lean on loving support of family and friends (Proverbs 18:24).
